In a bit of a Spin

My lovely friend, Steph, is a very creative person. Not only is she creative but she is also productive. So productive, she makes everyone else look lazy! I stock several of her handmade items in the shop, but today she brought in some of her hand dyed sock yarns and merino tops.

They are beautiful. This is bad for me, as I will now keep taking them off the shelves and knitting and spinning them all myself.

She brought in some samples last week. One of the tops asked me to spin it, and I couldn’t say no, could I? I’m still a beginner but this is what I did.

The First Ply

Finished yarn, it's only 21g

So today, knowing very well what I’m like, Steph brought an extra merino tops for me to make a ‘sample’ out of. The colours are very bright and are spinning up nicely. I like spinning very much.
